What a month September has been. I’ve been looking forward to Megan and Angie’s wedding for what feels like forever. When the day came, I could barely hold it together. No one could, honestly. There were happy tears all around! There’s something really special to be felt when you’re in a room and you feel this overwhelming sense of love and support. The kind of overwhelming that takes your breath away and stops you in your tracks. The kind where you’re fully present in that particular moment and really understand the gravity of what you’re experiencing. That’s the best way I can describe this wedding and was just so grateful to be witnessing something soooo beautiful, and even more grateful that this was happening for such a dear friend of mine!
The entire day was spent in Downtown Warren, Ohio. Both groups of girls were getting ready at the Best Western on the square. Everything was super chill as everyone got ready for the day. Megan and Angie had their first look in a quiet alley and then we spent some time wandering around downtown, taking photos. Now let me tell you something about their bridal party. I’ve spent tons of weddings working with guys, and it’s really fun. BUT! There is just something about an all girl bridal party. This all girl bridal party in particular. They were sooooo much fun to work with - I felt like I was just hanging out with a big group of my friends. These girls were a freakin blast! Not to leave out Tommy and Michael - they were fun too! Megan and Angie seriously surrounded themselves with a great group of people!
Their ceremony took place at Union Tower. The venue is super unique, and they added little decor touches that really brought the space to life. Everyone was all smiles and happy tears and the ceremony was very personal and very sweet! Afterwards, we took a few more bridal party photos and headed to The Horseshoe bar for a post-wedding drink. At that point, everyone was ready to party!
The reception was at The Hippodrome, with amazing food and bomb cheesecake catered by The Mocha House in Warren. The night went exactly how you’d imagine, tons of joy and love and happy tears - duh! And lots of dancing!
Megan and Angie, I seriously couldn’t be happier for the both of you! You compliment each other so well and I love you both dearly. Congrats times a million! <3
