a little about me

You can call me Maegan (Mae for short).

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Northeast Ohio, married to my husband Lou, raising our sweet (and wildly fun) son Atlas and growing our family, alongside our senior pup, Meat.

Outside of photography, you’ll find me chasing live music, exploring the mountains, tending to my garden, thrifting like it’s a competitive sport and soaking up slow, ordinary moments with my people, usually around a bonfire with good food involved.

I’m deeply down-to-earth, easygoing by nature and I care a lot about making people feel comfortable and seen. That’s not just who I am, it’s how I show up for my clients.

Photographing real life as it unfolds, the connection, the chaos, the quiet in between, is what matters most to me.

Titles I also answer to:

wife, mom, dog mom, unprofessional cook, spicy food enthusiast and professional dog petter (I take this one VERY seriously)

GET TO KNOW ME

I bring 15 years of experience photographing weddings and real life as it unfolds, and I use it to make the process feel easy, intentional and human.

My goal is simple: to give you photos that feel like you. Not stiff. Not overly styled. Not forced into a box. I approach each wedding or session with curiosity, flexibility and a deep respect for the people in front of my camera.

I’m hands-on throughout the entire process, from planning and timelines to location ideas and gentle guidance during the moments that matter most. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. That’s my job.

At the core of my work are a few values I come back to every time:

✦ have fun ✦ be kind ✦ embrace the uncomfortable ✦

Because the most meaningful photos tend to live right there.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to document couples and families again and again. Milestones layered on top of each other. Becoming someone’s go-to photographer isn’t something I take lightly. It’s the part of this work that means the most to me.
