Behind the Scenes on How I create a Wedding Album

If you've been following along on the blog this month, then you know that we're spending the entire month talking about albums. They are my number one seller for a reason! There is no comparison to seeing your photos in print, where you can hold and feel the image. It's special. It's not like what you see every single day while scrolling your device. It's tangible, which I think it makes the images come to life even more.

If you've missed the past few weeks, I walked you through how to create a favorite's list in your online gallery (read here), how to choose your images for your wedding album (read here) and what album cover material options there are to choose from (read here). This week, I'm taking you behind the scenes even further. We're talking crawling into my head and getting a glimpse of my thought process as I design each album. Every wedding is different, and I treat every album as such. This makes every album custom and totally unique. Obviously the images are different with each album I design, but also different couples choose different types of images that go into their album based on what's important to them and what they love visually.

In the video below, I walk through the entire process. It's a long video, but you get to follow along through the whole thing, from how it looks on my computer screen when designing and how I choose images for each spread to how I try and tell the story of your wedding day in your album. If you've already received a wedding album from me in the past, this may be a cool video for you to see my process on how I made that gorgeous family heirloom of yours :]
