Part of the fun that happens for me after I book a client is that I get to know them throughout the planning process, usually in the form of coffee or beer dates. With Morgan and Ryan, I didn't get to meet them in person until a couple of days before the wedding because they live in Wyoming. Though Morgan and I spent a LOT of time emailing back and forth within the past year, nothing compared to hanging with them in person last week! They are just the sweetest, most easy-going and fun couple! I got to see a glimpse of just how much they adore each other at their rehearsal dinner, but all the feels came out on their wedding day!

We started the detail photos at the new DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Youngstown, Ohio. After visiting with both the guys and girls, I could tell that Morgan and Ryan were anxious and just ready to marry each other.

I was in complete bliss while photographing the details (that's totally my bread and butter)! Ryan and Morgan both have incredible taste! I think I may have swooned a little too hard over the Badgley Mischka heels, but at least Morgan was the only one who saw and could share in the excitement ;] Her Stella York gown was breathtaking, too. If those details were any indication of how the day was going to go for me, then I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding. And it definitely was!

The ceremony overlooked the pond at Hartford Hill Winery and Fowler, Ohio, followed by an outdoor reception and one hell of a party! I will say - that is officially the first time I've seen a full dance floor during dinner. Both of those families were ready to enjoy the night and celebrate the beginning of a beautiful marriage! While Ryan is from the area, Morgan grew up in Wisconsin and had a lot of family make a special trip to Northeast Ohio to support and be a part of this wedding day. It was a very small, intimate celebration but so full of love and happiness. Like I said, all the freakin feels!

Of course, before I left for the night we had to take advantage of the amazing sunset light. Any time a couple allows me to pull them away from the crowd for 10 or 15 minutes to do sunset photos - I am over the moon! I know it's asking a lot, but those usually end up being my favorite shots of the day! A huge hats off to Morgan and Ryan for braving the wet field for a photo. It was one million times worth it!!!

Morgan and Ryan - I hope these past couple of weeks in Ohio have been absolutely incredible for you guys! I'm so beyond happy I had the opportunity to get to know you both and your families and sincerely wish you nothing but the best! Congratulations! <3
