I don't care if I sound like a broken record at this point, because this group is something I'm very passionate about! This awesome group is a part of the Rising Tide Society. Our Youngstown Tuesdays Together chapter is an incredibly strong group of creatives in our area that focus on community over competition. We meet up monthly to talk about business strategies while encouraging and supporting each other. I'm incredibly proud to be a part of such an incredible group of like-minded individuals and really encourage other local creatives to get involved in this group, too! It's a powerful tool and a great place to learn and grow.

A few times a year, we plan a headshot event where we all get together, hang and take photos. It's a really great excuse to get out and shoot, and an even better way to get to know other people and meet new faces! Let me also add that this isn't exclusively a photography group or a photography event. All creative business owners are welcome! It just so happens that all of us this time were photographers. If you ever really wanna see how awkward we can be, tell us to jump in front of the camera, or in this instance, six other cameras. But what better way to learn than from a client's prospective?

We spent the evening wandering around Buhl Park, starting at the casino - a giant white building with a huge wrap around porch and big white columns. Oh, and it overlooks a big pond. It's such a pretty place! After shooting around the building, we made our way over to The Avalon building. There's a gorgeous stone wall that made a perfect backdrop. Also, it's near the dog park so naturally, I had to get my hands on some pups in between locations. The next time around, I'm suggesting shooting inside of a dog park so I can completely fulfill my puppy fix for a solid two hours. #lifegoals
