Renee and Jason's Fall Wedding at St. Christine Roman Catholic Church and the Avalon Inn in Warren, Ohio
My last wedding of this year was certainly a memorable one. No, not because it poured down rain ALL DAY LONG. It’s because of Renee and Jason. It’s because of the incredible people that surrounded them on their wedding day. The outpouring of love for this couple was bursting at the seams on this rainy day, and rightfully so. These two bring so much joy and fun wherever they go. Honestly, there’s probably no one I would rather dance through puddles with than these two!
I started my day in Youngstown, Ohio with Renee’s dad, where he had Panera Bread snacks and coffee waiting for the girls when they arrived from their hair and makeup appointments at Roots Salon and Wellness Spa in Boardman, Ohio. The getting ready photos were followed by an emotional ceremony at St. Christine Roman Catholic Church. Then we braved the rain with a massive amount of umbrellas. Pro tip for you brides and grooms out there - if there’s a chance of rain, buy clear bubble umbrellas in bulk on Amazon. They photograph amazing and allow you to keep shooting, even in a downpour.
Even though it was cold and everyone was soaking wet, everyone had a great attitude, which absolutely helped us get photos done quickly and get everyone out of the rain to continue the celebration. With the last of the sunlight, we wrapped up photos at Jason’s family home where the Fall colors were on full display! The best part about the rain is that it really made those fiery colors pop. From there, we carried on the celebration in the Grand Ballroom at the Avalon Inn in Warren, Ohio. It was quite the celebration! Congratulations Renee and Jason!!! <3
