The moment I met Margarita and Tim, I knew I was meant to be their wedding photographer. As the planning process went on and Margs filled me in on all of the little details, I COULD NOT WAIT for their wedding day. Margarita is extra AF, in the best way possible, and I LOVE IT! Not only that, but every bit of their wedding was personalized in some way and those little stories are my favorite.

In true Margarita fashion, she had three dresses and they all served very specific purposes. Her grandma worked for Vera Wang, so Margs found a dress that was manufactured on her grandma’s line many years back. Once she received the dress, her grandma sewed lace detailing on the vintage dress and that was what Margs wore during the ceremony. Along with the vintage dress, she wore her grandma’s necklace that was a special gift from her father when she was a kid in Russia. Then there was a more modern lace gown for the reception and a dress for the after party. I photographed all of these wonderful details at the Twinsburg Hilton Garden Inn. I took advantage of every inch of the garden because it was so pretty!

The ceremony was very sweet as they said “I do” at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Macedonia, Ohio. From there, we hit the road and headed to McKinley Park in Canton, Ohio for photos. Did I mention how much I love this bridal party?! Everyone was fun loving, kind and 1000% there for Margs and Tim. We had a good time taking photos and then it was time to head to the Historic Onesto for the reception. If you’ve never been there, this place is magical! It was absolutely gorgeous, from the cocktail area to the hall where the reception was held. Speaking of the cocktail area, Margs and Tim had a margarita station set up (heck yeah!). There were elegant appetizers and music from the piano filled the space.

The reception area was very warm and inviting, from red roses to gold centerpieces, a giant cookie table (yas) and little squeaky pigs at each seat. Margarita and Tim have a pig named Moosh. She wasn’t physically present for the event but she certainly was there in spirit!

One of my absolute favorite parts of the night was the garter removal. Tim was blindfolded and as he shimmied his way over to the chair that Margs was sitting in, her and the best man swapped places. Mind you, he was wearing a skirt and Tim had no clue whose leg he was seductively pulling the garter off of. It was hysterical!

The night wrapped up with a lot of dancing and mingling. I certainly hope your day was incredible my friends. Congrats Tim and Margs! xo
