Preparing for this trip was super stressful. It was the first time in years I was away from Lou and the dogs for that long of a time period. Not only that, this was wedding number 5 for me in September alone, and my wedding season wasn’t even at it’s peak yet. Oh, and I had just a month and a half prior found out that I was pregnant. Talk about stress! ;] On top of all of that, I knew that we essentially had one day of no driving and non-work related things, so I tried to figure out how I could jam in all of the touristy Bar Harbor things into an afternoon…

Nothing makes me happier than when people I’ve known for a very long time ask me to shoot their wedding. It’s seriously such an honor. Take me into the woods on some trails I've never been on before surrounded by Earth's very own architecture and I'm a happy camper. Throw a wedding in the mix - excitement overload. And when it's one of my best friends? I'm completely over the moon. That was how Lou and I spent our Friday a little over a week ago.
