When I entered into the new year of 2018, I had such a momentum going and I couldn’t describe it. I instantly felt like the year was going to be the best in my career but also the most challenging. I never could’ve imaged just what that meant, but it truly was both absolutely wonderful and absolutely exhausting. Even with all of the challenges, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Preparing for this trip was super stressful. It was the first time in years I was away from Lou and the dogs for that long of a time period. Not only that, this was wedding number 5 for me in September alone, and my wedding season wasn’t even at it’s peak yet. Oh, and I had just a month and a half prior found out that I was pregnant. Talk about stress! ;] On top of all of that, I knew that we essentially had one day of no driving and non-work related things, so I tried to figure out how I could jam in all of the touristy Bar Harbor things into an afternoon…
