To say that we had the most beautiful evening for Amanda and Jimmy’s engagement session is an understatement I think. From the second I pulled in the driveway of Jimmy’s sister’s home, where we shot the session, I was in heaven. Legit died, went to heaven, resurrected and went to heaven again….

When trying to nail down the location for Julia and George’s engagement session, I got excited when Julia mentioned the Poland Forest because she wanted a woodsy feel. When she reached out to me about her own wedding, I was so excited that I may or may not have squealed with joy. Covid put a damper on Spring engagement photos, but we couldn’t have had a better August evening to explore Squire’s Castle and Lily Lagoon in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. I feel so fortunate to photograph in the Cleveland Metroparks and I feel like every time I shoot out there, I find a new location that I just love. The lagoon was that magical spot for me. It was so quiet and not a very high traffic area, so it made for a little more privacy as we photographed….
Read MoreIt feels like we waited an eternity to take these engagement photos! I swear we had at least three dates planned, but Covid-19 put a damper on us being able to shoot safely. But let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The greenery was lush and beautiful, the weather was nearly perfect and the golden light towards dusk was a photographer’s dream. Jason and Shafica both can attest to how much I squealed and screamed and jumped up and down out of excitement. It was such a fun evening! We started at Squire’s Castle in Willoughby, Ohio and ended in Chagrin Falls at the shops on Main Street. Those are two of my favorite places to shoot, or honestly just be at, because it’s just so beautiful….
