Julia and George's Summer Engagement Session | Poland Forest | Poland, Ohio

Summer engagement sessions are some of my favorite because of all of the greenery we get to be surrounded by. When trying to nail down the location for Julia and George’s engagement session, I got excited when Julia mentioned the Poland Forest because she wanted a woodsy feel. I’m all about a good hike in the woods, especially for beautiful photos! I don’t know why I don’t shoot in Poland, Ohio more, but there are so many beautiful locations at our disposal….

Julie and Jared's Romantic Summer Garden Engagement Session at the Rose Gardens in Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, Ohio

“We’re really awkward,” she said as we walked into the gardens. If I had a dollar for every time someone said that to me before I took their picture, I’d be rich by now. Their interaction with each other is sweet and silly and playful, which was fun to photograph! I actually thought Noll would be the shy one, but he was joking around the entire session. In all of the goofiness, he brought out this special quality in Kirsten that I hadn’t seen before. It was very apparent to me that they both find a level of comfort in each other unlike anything I’ve seen in a long time. The joy in their laughs and the smiles on their faces were 100% real. They balance each other out in a way that is just so beautiful and it makes me overjoyed to see how truly happy they are together!…
